3 advantages of a RAW file:
- Gives more control over the image
- White balance is easy to correct
- Quality is better
Disadvantage of RAW file:
- Huge files
- Hard to take pictures of sports

- Will not always need to fix/modify
Disadvantage of JPEG:
- More "noise" in the pictures
RAW: taking a picture and then the camera store the settings and info. the image can then be easily edited and still retain quality.
JPEG: what most people usually use, it processes all the info. right away so you can see the image right then, image may be lower quality but it will also not need as many corrections.
